Membership
Membership in our Order
is an expression of a deep commitment to Christ and His church. The life of a
Teutonic Knight or Dame is not a life of splendor, but of servitude. Christ
came, "not to be served, but to serve" (Matthew 20:28), and we follow Him. In
that regard, our order may not be for everyone. If you seek knighthood as a
means to elevate your status in society, we encourage you to look
somewhere else. However, if you love Christ and His Church and have the
heart of a servant, we would like to hear from you.

We look for men and women of good moral character who have found their
place in life. A candidate must be
at least 21 years old, a validly baptized
Christian
of any denomination and ecumenically-minded. He or she must be
an active member in his or her church and obviously support the ideals of the
order. All members of the clergy, if accepted, will be admitted as chaplains of
the order.

Membership in the order is a privilege, not a right. The decision about a
candidate's admission into the order is made by the Board of the order at the
headquarters in Poggibonsi, Italy (to see the headquarters' Italian website,

please contact us, using the button on the left side of the screen.
" Pray for those
who are friends
and associates
of the Order,
those who do
good actions or
who seek to do
them, that God
may reward
them. "
